FAQ

Questions engineers and buyers often ask before sending a PCB RFQ.

These answers are written for prototype, NPI and low-volume PCB projects where clear DFM and production communication can save time.

Can MWX support prototype-only PCB projects?

Yes. Prototype PCB, engineering validation boards, NPI samples and urgent small quantities are a good fit, especially when DFM feedback or flexible communication is needed.

Can you support controlled impedance PCB?

Yes. Please provide impedance values, layer reference, trace width if fixed, stack-up notes and whether an impedance coupon or report is required.

Can you support HDI, blind vias or buried vias?

HDI, blind vias, buried vias, microvias and sequential lamination can be reviewed. Final feasibility depends on stack-up, via structure, material, pad size and reliability requirement.

Which files should I send for quotation?

Gerber, drill file, stack-up, quantity, material, copper thickness, surface finish, solder mask color, impedance requirement, target lead time and any special process notes are helpful.

Can you provide certification or inspection documents?

Documents such as CoC, electrical test report, impedance report, microsection, material certificate, RoHS/REACH support or other inspection data can be discussed during RFQ.

Can you handle urgent PCB projects?

Urgent projects can be checked quickly after file review. The fastest path is to send complete Gerber data, stack-up, quantity, surface finish and delivery target in the first message.

Do you only work with purchasing teams?

No. MWX often works well with hardware engineers, R&D engineers, manufacturing engineers, NPI managers and supply-chain teams because many PCB questions are technical before they are commercial.

Is MWX a large PCB factory?

MWX is positioned as engineering-oriented PCB manufacturing support, not as a large factory-size sales pitch. The focus is practical communication, DFM review and suitable production resources for each project.

Still Have A Question?

Send files, drawings or project notes and MWX will review the practical production route.
